Mowing
What services are included in weekly lawn mowing?
Our weekly service includes mowing, trimming around obstacles, edging along sidewalks and driveways, and blowing off all hard surfaces for a clean finish.
Do you offer weekly or bi-weekly service?
We strongly recommend weekly service for the healthiest lawn appearance. Bi-weekly service is available but may cost slightly more per visit due to heavier growth.
What happens if it rains?
If weather prevents service, we reschedule for the next available dry day — usually within 24–48 hours.
How do you handle overgrown lawns?
If a lawn has not been maintained regularly, we may charge a one-time initial cleanup fee before starting recurring service.
Snow Removal
Do you bag grass clippings?
Most weekly cuts are mulched for lawn health. If bagging is requested, we can provide that for a small additional fee.
When do you start snow removal service?
Hillcrest Property Services begins snow removal once snowfall reaches approximately 2 inches. Our team monitors storms closely and dispatches equipment as soon as conditions require service to keep your driveway and walkways safe.
Do I need to be home for snow removal?
No. As long as your driveway and service areas are accessible, we can complete the work whether you are home or away. Many customers rely on our service while they are at work or traveling.
What areas do you clear?
Our snow removal service typically includes:
• Driveways
• Walkways
• Sidewalks
• Entry paths
Additional areas can be cleared upon request.
Do you offer salting or ice control?
Yes. We offer salt and ice melt treatments to help prevent slippery conditions after snow removal. This service can be added to your snow clearing plan or requested as needed during icy conditions.
What happens during large storms?
During major snow events, we may perform multiple passes to keep driveways accessible throughout the storm. Our goal is to keep your property safe and manageable until the snowfall ends.
